Oh how I love national holidays.
School is closed today which means I can play in the kitchen that much more! Today was just that, play. Make something that I can take to the neighbors and let them enjoy. So I ended up making a Lemon Sabayon Tart with a Pecan Crust. There was a side of honeyed cream and then garnished with a twist of lemon. Pretty fancy perhaps, but a whole lot of fun to make. enjoy.

Life's Simple Pleasures
Sometimes the simplest of things are what make us enjoy life. For me, that’s a darn good sandwich. Nothing fancy, just good bread, cheese, meats, and few little extras and you have a happy boy.
